The title of this painting is “Supermandy”.
I pulled the Superman image from a Superman annual comic book.
The background behind Superman is a section from one of the band Chicago’s albums, their thumbprint album cover. I took a little section of the album cover and blew it up. I really like the black and white contrast.
And the background behind the Superman panel is actually a portrait of Tennessee Williams, by Andy Warhol.
I just happened to turn it sideways. And nobody ever noticed that.
